London: Latin, a Sunday Stroll and a Bulldog

On Sunday, Holly, Sean, Willow and I went to a very high Latin mass at Westminster Cathedral, which is the Mother Church for Roman Catholics in England and Wales and the largest Catholic Church in those two countries.  I mean it was HIGH mass with bells, incense, Latin, chanting and a choir.

Beautiful mosaics in a Byzantine-style church built in 1900:  The Holy Family, Christ, St Francis.

Returning to the hotel area, Holly and Willow decided to go on a bike ride around Hyde Park.  Sara and I decided to plop down and people watch.  Although it was a brisk day, the park was so busy!   People doing all sort of activities. As always, kids are the most fun to watch.  They are amazed by everything!

The lovely young rollerblade lady was soon joined by her equally lovely rollerblade boyfriend!

We decided to take a walk and we saw this wonderful Old English Bulldog.  The owner, Taher, introduced us to Boss, his pal.  He was so sweet and so powerful!  He gave us his email address (which gave Sara some trouble as Taher spelled his email address and pronounced the ‘h’ as ‘haitch’) and I sent the photos to him.  Look at that FACE!
